and Kaizen Karate TM 
KAIZEN means "continuous betterment" in Japanese (the world language of Karate)

KAIZEN KARATE TM not only addresses the physical, but the emotional, the logical and the complete wellness dynamic, known as HOLISTIC.

We are an expanding group of martial art teachers who are 100% committed to helping and guiding children to develop successful, empowering 'life-skills'. These are the kind of skills that can be  implemented instantly, and fined tuned, for further use during young adult-hood and beyond.

I'm referring to foundational skills such as:

• fitness and stamina

• awareness and respect

• concentration and focus

• goals and follow-through

• focus and dependability 

• teamwork and leadership

• coordination and strength 
  

• memorization and self esteem 

These Foundational skills, once carefully established, will serve your child very well, and give excellent return for time spent (attending classes) and money invested (fees, costs, travel etc.)

We accomplish excellent results through our creatively structured, fun, mixed martial arts classes, assignments, attention to school grades and the grading of their Home-Chore Score TM.

With an increasingly greater number of our children today who are diagnosed with obesity, diabetes, ADD, ADHD and similar health and learning disorders, it can be no wonder parents are looking for activities that can really help with these challenges. KARATE KIDS 'Life-Skills' ACADEMY TM is honored to be asked to bring our high energy programs to Las Vegas schools and facilities.

I take great pride in personally teaching affordable, top quality karate programs to ALL of the Y's in Las Vegas. I feel the reason for our steady growth is, our ethical standards, our strong traditional foundation AND 'our 'unique' modern approach to coaching and empowering our students as smart, creative individuals.

1.  We specialize in children only ...that's right..!  We don't teach adults. This means, all our age appropriate programs are designed to establish and build 'REAL-LIFE' SKILLS including The BEST BULLY BUSTER TACTICS TM and The STRANGER DANGER CODE TM, ...all taught from a child's 'VIBRANT future' view point.  We use top-of-the-line equipment only, chosen with your child's best interest in mind. Maybe, that's one of the reasons why KARATE KIDS 'Life-Skills' ACADEMY TM is one of the best and fastest growing 'children only' Mixed Martial Arts Programs in America today.

2.  We ONLY use Positive Empowerment Teaching TM methods: We avoid using four letter words like "don't" and "can't" ...also, "should'a", "would'a", "could'a", which negate the growth of children's confidence. Instead, we encourage children with  Positive Dialogue Feedback TM, this is the 'secret-sauce' for the recipe to our success in fulfilling our mission statement: To inspire self-esteem in all children of the world.
 
3.  We ONLY use Age-Appropriate Programs. Before, during and after class, students enjoy constant 'age and situation-Appropriate' verbal praise. Our students earn attendance credits (collect 16 and then redeem your sticker-sheet for a prize). We also award student of the day stickers for following dojo etiquette guideline (collect 16 = prize). We also award workshop and accomplishment patches, along with colored belt-STRIPES ...for paying attention, having good school-grades, doing home-chores, being on-time etc. (these are mandatory for taking a promotion test) These are all designed to 'positively' reward and reinforce their best efforts.

4.  We always have at least one Certified Black Belt Instructor leading a class, a workshop or our Cool Karate Birthday Parties TM: (We make all Official Party Guests ' Honory Black-Belts for the day', YES we also bring the pizza). All of our experienced, Black Belt Instructors go through an initial 40 hours of personal training in the KARATE  KIDS 'Life-Skills' ACADEMY TM teaching method and class format, then receive ongoing teacher training in Kaizen Karate TM to maintain program excellence.
